Adama Materials has developed a family of graphene oxide toughening agents for epoxy, unsaturated polyester, and vinyl ester resins.
Adama reported that its toughening agent can double resin toughness and deliver anywhere between a 60% and 140% increase in fracture energy (G1c) without losing composite strength or modulus.
The company is no longer in business, it liquidated in 2017 before launching its products to the market.
