CalBattery was a Los Angeles based start-up that develops silicon-graphene lithium-ion battery anode material. The company seems to no longer be in business.
Back in 2012, the company announced plans to commercialize this material by 2014, but development took longer than the company expected. In December 2016 the company announced that it successfully scaled-up its new fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition process and is producing commercial quality and quantities of its high capacity silicon composite anode material.
