QuantumWise A/S is opening an office in Silicon Valley, CA and is seeking a scientific specialist in atomic-scale modeling. You will be in close contact with our customers and collaboration partners in the Bay Area, and your tasks will be revolving around the development and validation of the functionality in our software, and advanced technical and scientific end-user support. The latter can involve programming to deliver solutions for specific customers, and development of scientific case studies. These tasks require extensive experience with atomic-scale modeling and some programming experience. Current technical staff all have degrees in theoretical physics, computer science or chemistry.
We are looking for a talented individual with a broad set of skills in the following areas
· Atomic-scale modeling
o Personal experience with different atomic-scale simulation codes
o Molecular dynamics and quantum transport
o Strong general background in chemistry and solid state physics
· General technical skills
o Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
o General programming skills, in particular in Python
