Haydale receives two new plasma reactors

Haydale announced the arrival of two new Rotovac plasma reactors, designed in collaboration with Haydale and built by Tantec.

The new plasma reactors are meant to increase the company's capacity and operational flexibility to meet increased graphene production needs. Haydale reports that commissioning has already begun and the reactors should be fully operational in January 2015.

The company plans to use these machines to become capable of functionalising a significantly higher volume and range of graphenes and other carbon nanomaterials to enable effective dispersion into target materials such as thermoplastics, thermosets and specific fluids.

Haydale ordered these reactors in October 2014, so their arrival marks the completion of this deal.
