Hazer Group is an early stage technology development company undertaking the commercialization of the Hazer Process, a low-emission hydrogen and graphite production process. The Hazer Process was developed by researchers at The University of Western Australia (UWA), before the IP were assigned to Hazer for further commercial development.
The Hazer Process enables the effective conversion of natural gas and similar feedstock into hydrogen and high quality graphite, using ion ore as a catalyst. The company has announced a new agreement with the University of Western Australia (UWA) to develop Hazer technology for production of graphene. The project will focus on further tailoring of the Hazer Process reaction to improve the yield and quality of graphene produced.
