JNC Materials

JNC Materials is a Korea-based battery company that specializes in secondary battery materials, battery pack materials, and electronic materials, like with silicon heat dissipation materials. The Company uses a unique reduced graphene/silicon mass production process.

JNC aims to produce silicon/graphene composite anode materials for secondary batteries, improving stability, performance and cost.

In 2021, JNC licensed graphene production technology from KERI for 1.1 billion won, or about $790,000. It has since built facilities capable of producing thousands of tons of graphene annually — enough, the company says, to supply batteries for about 60,000 electric vehicles or hundreds of millions of smartphones.
