Philips’ new QD-OLED gaming monitor uses graphene heat dissipation technology

Philips has introduced a new QD‑OLED gaming monitor, the Evnia 32M2N8900X, which incorporates a graphene layer within its display panel to enhance thermal performance. The use of graphene allows for more efficient heat dissipation, helping the panel maintain stable operation and extend its service life - an important factor in high‑brightness OLED designs.

The 32‑inch 4K (3840×2160) display combines a QD‑OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and Philips’ Ambiglow lighting system. While most specifications focus on gaming performance and visual quality, the integration of graphene is a noteworthy development, reflecting a broader industry trend toward graphene‑based materials for thermal management in advanced electronics.

The Evnia 32M2N8900X is currently available in the Chinese market, with international release details yet to be announced.
