UK-based HexagonFab develops biological sensors based on graphene. The company is a spin-off from the University of Cambridge.
HexagonFab offers sensors including handheld readout devices to analyze protein concentrations and interactions. The company says its graphene-based sensor offer highly sensitive results in an affordable and portable device.
HyCarb
HyCarb is a Florida-based early-stage company, headquartered at the University of Central Florida Business Incubator in Research Park. HyCarb uses graphene and carbon nanotubes to develop enhanced, environmentally-friendly batteries, super-capacitors, fuel cells, solar panels, sensors, catalysts, filters and transistors.
HyCarb has an exclusive license for three patents from the University of Central Florida (UCF) that utilize graphene aerogels and conducting polymers. HyCarb is currently focused on creating five new anodes and five new cathodes to be fabricated into prototype batteries that store renewable energy.
Iceni Labs
Iceni Labs is a spin-out from Imperial College London, developing a graphene-based microphone. The new graphene microphones will provide higher audio quality than existing technologies as the potential of graphene as a microphone diaphragm is well known, as the stresses and strains across the membrane are more uniform than in a silicon device.

Imagine Intelligent Materials is an Australian developer of graphene-based coatings for industrial textiles and fibres. The coatings solutions are delivered as masterbatch and can be used to deliver new functionalities in geotextiles, geogrids, and geomembranes.

Australia-based Ionic Industries (formerly known as Grafitech) was spun-off from Strategic Energy Resources (SER) in 2015 with an aim to develop graphene-based technologies.
Ionic develops graphene-based supercapacitors, membranes and sand-coated sand for water treatment and chemical separation.

JTX
JTX (officially Shandong Prosperous Star Optoelectronics Co), established in May 2014 in China, is a developer of LED based lighting products. JTX has over 800 employees and is involved with all the LED lighting value chain, from LED chips and filaments to complete light bulbs.
In July 2016 JTX announced plans to merge with Graphene Lighting PLC, but these plans were later cancelled.
Kivoro
KIVORO was spun-off of Graphenea in late 2022.
It will serve as a specialty chemicals company, to commercialize various current industrial solutions and also move beyond graphene. It will maintain its leading expertise in carbon and nanomaterials, but also focused on developing specialty chemicals for clients.
Kukil Graphene
Founded in 2018, Kukil Graphene is mainly involved in graphene composites and CVD-based materials.
Kukil Graphene is owned by KUKIL Paper, a leader in the field of specialized paper materials using natural and synthetic fibers. Expanding its business to graphene will let it focus on graphene thin films using direct transfer CVD technologies with low temperature and more.
Log 9 Materials
Log 9 Materials was established in 2015 as an IIT Roorkee spin-off to focus on graphene material production and application development.

Morrow Batteries
Morrow Batteries is a battery company registered in Norway, which aims to build and scale up battery cell production in Norway in the coming years. Morrow Batteries is a joint venture between Graphene Batteries and Agder Energy Ventures.
Morrow was founded in 2020 with two lead investors: Agder Energi Venture, a wholly owned subsidiary of Agder Energi, and NOAH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gjelsten Holding.
