HyCarb is a Florida-based early-stage company, headquartered at the University of Central Florida Business Incubator in Research Park. HyCarb has an exclusive license for three patents from the University of Central Florida (UCF) that utilize graphene aerogels and conducting polymers. HyCarb is currently focused on creating five new anodes and five new cathodes to be fabricated into prototype batteries that store renewable energy.
