Anson Resources (previously known as Mayan Iron Corporation) is a Western Australian based mining exploration company that was formed in 2009 and listed on the ASX in July 2010. The companyâs primary goal is to discover and develop precious metal deposits. The Company is based in West Perth, Western Australia.
The Company has three core projects, two in Western Australia and one in Nevada, USA. The Western Australian projects are still in the exploration stage, and AR continues to focus on developing and delivering high grade, high value resources. The USA project is a share in Nevada gold exploration.
In April 2016 Anson Resources announced that single layered graphene has been produced from graphite flakes from the Companyâs Ajana Graphite Project. The research work was carried out by Flinders University of South Australia.
