Paragraf launches PMF2002 graphene sensing platform with new data acquisition system
UK-based Paragraf has launched two new products expanding its graphene sensing portfolio: the PMF2002 Graphene Field-Effect Transistor (GFET) Platform and the Enterprise Reader data acquisition system, designed to work together to take users from sensor development through to data analysis.
The PMF2002 builds on Paragraf's earlier PMF2000 platform with a 12-channel multiplexing architecture that uses a common gate with separate source and drain connections, allowing simultaneous measurements across multiple sensing channels from a single sample while requiring less sample material. The sensing surface can be functionalized by customers, letting the platform be adapted for target-specific detection across applications including water quality monitoring, soil analysis, gas detection, and molecular biosensing.

Paragraf has announced the launch of its latest Graphene Field Effect Transistor (GFET), the PMF2000, marking a step forward in scalable graphene device manufacturing.

The PMF2000 builds on Paragraf’s existing GFET technology, retaining its hallmark contamination-free graphene while introducing production on six-inch silicon wafers. This transition is enabled by the company’s new large-wafer manufacturing facility in Huntingdon - described as the world’s first graphene foundry. Paragraf and Archer Materials have announced a cooperative research and development program focused on next-generation quantum computing hardware enabled by graphene-based device platforms.
The collaboration brings together Paragraf's commercially scalable graphene platform with Archer Materials' domain expertise in quantum device architectures to advance new device structures designed to address critical challenges in quantum computing and information processing. At the core of the program is ongoing research into novel graphene device architectures for quantum bit (qubit) detection, including graphene structures capable of interfacing with emerging quantum systems. This project represents a first-of-its-kind effort, as graphene-based qubits have not yet been demonstrated at either an academic or industrial level.

Paragraf announces production of first 6-inch graphene wafer at Huntingdon facility
Paragraf has announced the successful production of its first 6-inch wafer at a newly opened manufacturing site in Huntingdon. The development marks a step forward in scaling graphene technology for commercial applications.
The wafer incorporates graphene field-effect transistors (GFETs) created using Paragraf’s proprietary process, which grows graphene directly on silicon substrates. This approach is believed to be the first demonstration of GFETs on silicon at this size using a direct-growth method, representing a major advancement for scalable graphene electronics.
Paragraf launches new GFET discovery kit
Paragraf, the UK-based company commercializing graphene-based electronics using standard semiconductor processes, has announced an expansion of its product offerings with the introduction of a GFET Discovery Kit.
The Discovery Kit, which provides molecular sensing researchers the ability to process samples immediately, is now available. The kit provides an easy-to-assemble platform for molecular sensing experiments. By integrating Paragraf’s GFET-PV01 devices with a PalmSens EmStat Pico MUX16 data acquisition system and pre-configured accessories, the Discovery Kit removes the complexity of hardware selection, wiring and setup that typically slows down laboratory exploration.
Paragraf enters MOU with INTRATOMICS to advance graphene-based sensor technologies
Paragraf has signed of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with INTRATOMICS Advanced Material Technologies (INTRATOMICS), a subsidiary of Khalifa University Enterprises Company (KUEC), to jointly develop advanced graphene-enabled sensor solutions.
Under the agreement, INTRATOMICS will focus on material synthesis of metal oxides, and functionalization of Paragraf devices through the application of the metal oxide onto the Paragraf graphene sensing layer. Paragraf will lead on system integration, engineering, design and development of the graphene-based sensing technology built on the company’s existing GFET platform. Together, the partners aim to deliver highly sensitive, selective and stable sensors capable of detecting hazardous gases and environmental contaminants with unprecedented precision - enabling safer operations, improved compliance and more-efficient industrial processes.
Public graphene firms see renewed optimism amid industry upswing

We believe that this reflects the overall sentiment in the graphene industry and market - there is renewed interest in graphene materials, and new projects and applications are entering the market. Paragraf raises $55 million to expand graphene chip production
UK-based Paragraf, a company focused on producing graphene-based electronics with standard semiconductor processes, has secured $55 million in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by the United Arab Emirates' sovereign wealth fund, Mubadala.

The funds will reportedly be used to scale manufacturing capabilities for its graphene-based electronics.The funding will speed up the scaling of Paragraf’s manufacturing capabilities and increase production capacity, paving the way for graphene electronics to enter mass markets.
