GMG enters MOU with Alstom to co-develop graphene products for the rail industry
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced a global exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Alstom for testing and developing graphene products for the rail industry – specifically for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

GMG’s THERMAL‑XR graphene coating achieves 30,000‑hour corrosion milestone as June sales hit new record
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has reported a record month for THERMAL‑XR sales orders, booking over AU$400,000 (around US$278,000) in June 2026, driven by growing demand for its graphene‑enhanced coating in HVAC‑R and industrial energy‑saving applications. This builds on GMG’s recent progress in scaling production, including commissioning a dedicated THERMAL‑XR blending plant with capacity to produce hundreds of thousands of liters of coating annually, and expanding distributor networks across North America and Asia.

In a separate announcement, GMG mentioned that its THERMAL‑XR graphene coating has reached a major performance milestone, completing 30,000 hours of global benchmark corrosion testing with no observed corrosion, after already exceeding several ASTM and ISO corrosion‑resistance standards.
GMG completes construction of second‑generation graphene production plant
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that it has completed construction and successfully started up its Generation 2.0 Graphene Manufacturing Technology Plant (“Gen 2.0 Plant”). The new facility is designed to produce up to 10 tonnes of graphene per year once remaining works are completed and the plant is fully optimized.
GMG reports that the Gen 2.0 Plant was brought online on schedule before the end of June 2026. The total capital cost is expected to be at or below the previously estimated AU$2.3 million by the end of project completion in late 2026, with project costs currently tracking under budget. According to the Company, the plant is also being developed to be largely self‑powered, using standalone energy generation with renewable energy sources, an energy storage system, and hydrogen‑enriched natural gas from tail‑gas power generation.
GMG delivers its first bulk shipment of THERMAL-XR(R) to Nu Calgon in the USA
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that it has shipped its first ever bulk order of THERMAL-XR® to its exclusive North American distributor, Nu Calgon Wholesaler, which is marketed and sold as "Nu-Calgon CoolWorx® powered by GMG® Graphene".
As previously disclosed, GMG is authorized to export, distribute, sell, use and dispose of graphene coating across multiple industries in the United States in accordance with its pre-manufacture notice P-25-0018.
GMG applies for additional environmental approvals to produce graphene in the U.S
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that it has submitted an additional application to the United States Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") for the manufacture and sale of graphene and graphene coatings (THERMAL-XR®), lubricants (G® LUBRICANT) and other graphene fluids in the United States. GMG expects to obtain this approval by the end of June 2027.

This application is in addition to the existing approval under PMN P-25-0018, which authorizes the Company to export, distribute, sell, use and dispose of graphene coatings across multiple industries in the United States.
GMG focuses on oil and gas industry with Curran International THERMAL-XR® deal
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced the signing of a global distribution agreement with Curran International for THERMAL-XR® and for exclusive application services for the product oil and gas/LNG industry.
Curran International is a global provider of heat transfer technologies working with some of the world's largest oil and gas companies like Exxon Mobil, BP, Philips 66, Chevron, Shell, Marathon, Citgo, Aramco, Total, Sabic, Motiva, Reliance, ONGC, HMEL, Cenovus, Suncor Energy and Satorp.
GMG leases new site as part of expansion plan
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that it has signed a 3 year lease, with options for term extension, to support production expansion and to provide additional office space for staff. The site is within the Richlands suburb of Brisbane, nearby to the existing headquarters of the Company.
GMG aims to deliver its Gen 2.0 Graphene Production Project (the "Gen 2.0 Project") by end of June 2026 - which is expected to produce at least 10 tonnes per annum of graphene at its headquarters in Richlands, Queensland, Australia. Once the Gen 2.0 Project is commissioned and operating, GMG plans to replicate and establish other production plants around the world to enable scaled production for potential sales, diversify and lower production risks, and reduce operating costs by locating the plant in countries with lower operating costs, including low cost natural gas - one of GMG's key production input costs.
GMG's graphene coating boosts air conditioning performance in Australian residential project
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that its THERMAL-XR graphene coating solution is being applied to air conditioning units at two luxury residential towers under construction on Australia’s Gold Coast in Queensland. The project involves coating between 300 and 600 air conditioners at GMG’s spray booth facility in Brisbane.

The company said the coating is designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce corrosion and extend the operating life of HVAC equipment. "Great to see two of the largest towers in Australia using THERMAL-XR on their air conditioners to save energy for the apartment owners and tenants as well as limiting corrosion and extending the air conditioners' life,” GMG CEO Craig Nicol said in a statement.
Graphene Manufacturing Group secures US patent, China approval for its graphene-enhanced lubricant
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has announced that it has secured a 20-year US patent and received approval in China for its graphene-based engine oil additive, G LUBRICANT, marking a further step in the company’s efforts to establish international intellectual property protection for the product.

The company said the latest developments build on a previously accepted patent covering the European region, with applications in several other countries still under review.
GMG reports doubling energy density of 6 minute charging graphene aluminium-ion battery
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) has provided a progress update on its Graphene Aluminium-Ion Battery technology (“G+A CELLS”) being developed by GMG and the University of Queensland (“UQ”) under a Joint Development Agreement with Rio Tinto, one of the world’s largest metals and mining groups, and with the support of the Battery Innovation Center of Indiana (“BIC”) in the United States of America.
Increase in Energy Density for G+A CELLS since December ’25 Update
The GMG G+A CELLS have reportedly demonstrated superior performance characteristics when compared to a representative market leading ultra-fast charging batteries, the Lithium Titanate Oxide (“LTO”) batteries, which can be sold at a premium price of up to US$1200/kWh.
