Researchers produce high-quality graphene in a single step

Researchers from University Duisburg-Essen (UDE) developed a new process that's capable of producing high-quality graphene in a single step. The idea is to use Ethylene gas as a catalyst on the surface of an iridium crystal to produce a carbon layer that is exactly one single atom thick.
