Researchers produce 'synthetic' graphene by deforming and then purifying graphite

Researchers from the University of Technology in Sydney Australia developed a new method to produce graphene - by creating a deformation in graphite after purification and filtration processes. They call the new material 'synthetic graphene' and say that the material they produced in this synthetic method and thermal process is tough, hard, and bendable.
