G6 Materials Corporation has announced the launch and immediate availability of the Breathe+ Pro Advanced Antimicrobial Graphene Air Filtration System.

The Breathe+ Pro Advanced Antimicrobial Graphene Air Filtration System removes microbes, dust particles, smog, dander, pollen as well as volatile organic compounds (VOC) from the air. Its antiviral and antibacterial efficacy was reportedly verified by independent tests by The Intertek Group. This patented Graphene Filter is said to remove 99.9% of the pathogenic microorganisms and is optimized for spaces up to 1,500 sq. ft., making it suitable for the home and office.

Graphene developer G6 Materials reported its financial results for Q1 2022 (ended February 2022). The company's revenues were $337,921, up 28% from last year, and the total loss increased 26% to $404,152.

As of February 28, 2022, total assets were $6.9 million. The company says it saw continued strong demand for its innovative formulations, along with impressive customer response to the relaunch of Graphene Supermarket. G6 Materials has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Graphene Laboratories (GLI), has entered into a Testing Services Agreement (the TSA) with the U.S. Army Engineer Research & Development Center (U.S. Army ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

GLI will be assessing the performance characteristics and quality of graphene oxide (GO) materials in order to help solve environmental challenges. Development of GO materials with superior adsorptive capabilities for the removal of complex contaminants will take place, with 10 specific tests to be conducted by the U.S. Army ERDC on GLI’s GO materials. The project will run for an expected time frame of one year.

G6M says that the new reactor increases the company’s GO production capacity five-fold. The first batch of graphene oxide from the New Reactor was produced on November 26, 2021.
